ANNUAL PLAN REPORT OF ELAPPULLY GRAMA PANCHAYAT

1. Introduction

The Annual Plan has been prepared with the objective of ensuring the comprehensive development of the Grama Panchayat, with the active participation of the people and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Government. Priority has been given to various sectors such as basic infrastructure development, social welfare, healthcare, education, agriculture, drinking water, sanitation, and environmental protection.

3. Mission of the Panchayat

• To ensure a transparent governance system through people's participation.
• To strengthen basic infrastructure development.
• To improve healthcare and education.
• To promote women’s empowerment and youth development.
• To ensure environmental protection and sanitation.

4. Major Development Sectors

4.1 Drinking Water Projects

• Establishment of new drinking water wells.
• Implementation of water conservation activities.
• Renovation and improvement of pipeline systems.

4.2 Road and Infrastructure Development

• Renovation and improvement of rural roads.
• Installation of street lights.
• Construction and improvement of drainage systems.

4.3 Health and Sanitation

• Organisation of health camps.
• Implementation of waste management projects.
• Cleaning and maintenance of public places.

4.4 Education and Social Welfare

• Providing educational assistance to students.
• Implementation of welfare programmes for senior citizens.
• Providing self-employment training for women.
